Dear Beyond Imagination friends,
I'm excited for what God has in store for this next year. Already this month we had the opportunity to share about the ministry with two churches in Oregon. One was the last church where I was the worship minister and the other was the church in which I grew up. At each church we had nearly an hour of questions on how to relate and show Godly love to an individual with same sex attraction. It is so nice to know they are praying for us every month.

How do I show Love...
Christians have difficult decisions to make in friendships because we are called to do two things: 1) love people and 2) stand for what the Bible says. What do we do about people who don't live in the way God wants us to?
In a way, it's simple: Show them the same love and respect that Christ would show them. Jesus is down on sin, but not down on sinners. All people have sin in their lives, but that doesn't mean they have less worth to God. So no matter what sin people are involved in, they're still worth God's love. I would treat your homosexual friends the same way you would treat heterosexual friends who are sexually active. You can show love to someone without approving of what they do.--Christianity Today Website link

We have several people who are willing to share at small groups, churches and events about their struggles with same sex attraction. We are available to tell our stories and offer appropriate Christian responses to those who struggle.

What does it take for lasting change to take root in your life? If you've ever tried, failed, and wondered why, you need How People Change. This book explains the biblical pattern for change in a clear, practical way you can apply to the challenges of daily life. But change involves more than a biblical formula: you will see how God is at work to make you the person you were created to be. That powerful, loving, redemptive relationship is at the heart of all positive change you experience.
