The Importance of Entrepreneurship Education and Entrepreneurial Accomplishments!

Greetings!

Jerome Katz's  ground-breaking chronology of U.S. entrepreneurship education, which was published in the Journal of Business Venturing ten years ago, highlights just how recently entrepreneurship education was introduced at the college level and how quickly it has spread across the U.S over the past 40 years.  More importantly, it reinforces the notion that entrepreneurship can be taught.

Entrepreneurship is a hot topic  right now!  The number of entrepreneurship academic programs continues to rise, and the number of articles about successful entrepreneurs appears regularly in the business news media.  The variety of courses and entrepreneurial experiences offered by colleges for their students is astounding.  If your school has an exceptional entrepreneurship program feature, let us know and we may do a feature story in our newsletter.

Would your university like to be the first in your state or region to establish a Sigma Nu Tau chapter on your campus? You will gain a competitive advantage by being able to offer special programs and awards to your students!

If you would like to establish a chapter at your university so that you can recognize outstanding students, faculty members, entrepreneurs, and honorary members, please visit our website (sigmanutau.org) to learn more about the process.

Wishing you a very productive fall!

Sincerely,
