Derby and Hockey and Moms...oh my!  The Derby is tomorrow and the Ducks are in the playoffs.  And of course, we all know that May is the month to celebrate our moms and our fallen soldiers.

If you can't make it to Churchill Downs, head over to OC's horse racing headquarters to view the 141st Run for the Roses!   Join us in toasting with our classic mint juleps as we cheer on this year's finest thoroughbred horses.
 
Fashion your finest derby hats to help us set the scene.  If you need some inspiration, check out last year's event by clicking on the photo -------------->. With food and drink specials and derby bucks, what are you waiting for? Be there with fancy hats on!

Big winners at this Silky's Annual Chili Cookoff!

This year's competition was an old fashioned showdown between 17 contestants. After LOTS of samples, the judges and the public picked their favorites, which included a trio of Williams winning the People's Choice! Click the photo below to see the whole album.

Quack Attack: NHL Playoff Edition  
After sweeping the Winnipeg Jets in four games, the Ducks were the ones on fire in a 6-1 stomping of the Calgary Flames at Thursdsay night's series opener.  Come to Silky's to cheer on our powerhouse Ducks and to watch all the Stanley Cup matches!

Silky's annual golf tournament offers a charitable excuse to take a day off work for some "fun and frivolity" on the course with your friends. Join us on the Classic Course @ Mile Square Golf Course.

ENTRY FEE: $99 per person, includes:
   - 18 holes of "Scramble Format" w/golf cart
   - A box lunch
   - Dinner and awards at Silky's
