The Good Samaritan Health Center is a Christian-based charity in downtown Norcross (5949 Buford Hwy.).
It desperately needs volunteer dentists and dental technicians. Since moving into their new facility, they have added six dental chairs and have been overwhelmed with demand for dental services from their uninsured patients. Currently, over three hundred individuals are waiting six weeks for an appointment. If you can help, please contact Gary Czajkowski, liaison for this charity, or Greg Lang, director of Good Sam.

Yoga @ Simpsonwood
Please join us for Yoga in the FLC gym, every Thursday at 9:30 AM.
We practice yoga because it is essential for everyone to become the best caretakers we can be of the body, mind and spirit given to us by a loving Creator. Learning yoga poses is non-competitive, yet challenging as each person discovers places within themselves that are in need of balance and expansion.
In practicing yoga, we are:
- Using our bodies to stretch and open
- Using our minds to become aware of our potentials and our limits
- Using our spirits to recognize and acknowledge the Divine source of our lives
Some benefits of yoga are:
- We learn to value all aspects of our being
- We find enhanced healthfulness
- We cultivate peace in the midst of our non-stop stress-filled lives
PLEASE JOIN US and it's only $10 per session.
The next six week session would include the following dates:
May 18 and 25
June 1, 8, 15 and 22
We will meet in the Gym of the Family Life Center except on June 1 and 15. On these two days we will meet in Room 110/111 in the Family Life Center.
Thursdays at 9:30am
The cost is $50 for 6 weeks, $10 to drop into single classes.
Even if you haven't joined us before, newcomers are welcome!
Located in the gym in Family Life Center.
