ECEP 4s Families Plant Roots at Temple Sinai
The Yellow Ducks (4s class) and their families donated a beautiful Thundercloud Flowering Plum tree to commemorate their years in our ECEP. During the dedication ceremony, the children placed painted rocks around the base of the tree, and their parents reminded them to learn lessons from the tree, including:
Stand Tall & Proud.
Remember Your Roots.
Hospitality for the Homeless June 24-July 8
Nichole and Zion were two guests of Temple Sinai during our 2017 Family Promise hosting weeks...

For over two decades, Temple Sinai has hosted homeless families through what is now the Family Promise organization. This year, we will be hosting from June 24-July 8. Thank you to all of you who have already signed up to shop, cook, and serve our guests. Right now, we need overnight hosts. To volunteer, please sign up HERE .

.. .As for Nichole and Zion – Since we saw them last year, Nichole has earned her degree as well as a substitute teaching certificate. She has also written and self published a book to help others going through difficult times or experiencing major life changes. Family Promise has been successful with so many families and Nichole and Zion now live in a home of their own.
