Quadrilateral Quartet Sings Sunday

Get excited, 'cause this Sunday is Quadrilateral Sunday at FUMC! Not only will we be singing in the worship service, but Pastor Phil is preaching on the Wesleyan Quadrilateral and how it came to be part of our name. You may have heard a small preview of our music at the fundraiser a few weeks ago and in the past couple of services. This Sunday we're providing the special music right after the sermon, and Ross Cowing has picked Craig Curry's Jazz Alleluia for us. You'll love these luscious harmonies and contemplative mood when you hear the full colors of our voices. We're excited - hope you will be too! See you Sunday!

Rev. David Couper Wednesday Night Discussion
Wednesday, April 20 @ 7 p.m., Fellowship Hall

The Rev. David Couper will speak to us about changes in police strategies in Madison and what more needs to be done. He is the former Chief of Police in Madison and now an Episcopal priest. He also is a poet and author. This is a key issue for us as a church "downtown for good," and his presentation will be an excellent time for us to learn what is happening in our city.
Easter Music at First Church

Alleluia! ¡Alabaré! These were the words we heard this past Sunday as we celebrated Easter with joyful music.
