Stay up to date!
From Sunday:

Over these past few weeks we have learned so much about the time between Palm Sunday and the Empty Tomb.
Understanding Jesus' Final Week offers us lessons for Life.
Palm Sunday prepared us to be loosed on the world to continue Jesus' ministry at our jobs, in our daily lives and in every way that we play.
We learned from the questioning Jesus faced on Monday and Tuesday how we can bear fruit for the Kingdom wherever we go.
Wednesday was the day that showed us how to pour out our lives for Jesus and the building of the Kingdom.
Thursday was the day of the first Lord's Supper and the day that enriches our prayer lives as we follow Jesus' example by praying for exactly what we want, but always yielding our will to God's will and God's plan for our lives.
Friday, we saw how hard it was to give thanks in all circumstances but how rewarding and life fulfilling it can be.
Saturday revealed how much love Jesus has for each and every one of us.
And today we celebrate the Resurrection.

New Sunday School Book Study
led by Julie Peterman

T he Sunday School class that meets in the Conference Room will be reading and discussing
Sitting At The Feet Of Rabbi Jesus: How the Jewishness of Jesus Can Transform Your Faith
beginning April 15 and lasting for eight weeks. Anyone is welcome to join the group.
Books can be purchased from Amazon (used copies available at a reduced price + shipping as well) or from other online retailers like Lifeway, Cokesbury, and Barnes & Noble.

"Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus: How the Jewishness of Jesus Can Transform Your Faith takes you on a fascinating tour of the Jewish world of Jesus, offering inspirational insights that can transform your faith. Ann Spangler and Lois Tverberg paint powerful scenes from Jesus' ministry, immersing you in the prayers, feasts, history, culture, and customs that shaped Jesus and those who followed him.You will hear the parables as they must have sounded to first-century Jews, powerful and surprising. You will join the conversations that were already going on among the rabbis of his day. You will watch with new understanding as the events of his life unfold. And you will emerge with new excitement about the roots of your own Christian faith. Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus will change the way you read Scripture and deepen your understanding of the life of Jesus. It will also help you to adapt the rich prayers and customs you learn about to your own life, in ways that both respect and enrich your Christian faith."
