We hope that everyone enjoyed the Science Extravaganza Fun Night this month. It was our first year of combining the traditional Science & Arts fair, with our Science Night. There was an overwhelming positive response about the combined event and many parents felt it was nice to have "more to do" in one evening. There were 14 demonstration stations brought to us by teachers, students and various organizations. Thanks to our very own Dr. Brecht, the SNHS students & Mr. Sunny, and Mary Beth Renze and the FR Robotics Team and Ms. Ritson and her middle school students. Also, thanks to PPG, The National Aviary, and the Murrysville Historical Society. There was an amazing 128 projects submitted for the Science and Art Fair portion. We would like
to thank all of the aspiring Scientists and Artists for their amazing work. You should be proud of your hard work and incredible ideas - keep it up!

on Friday night, the teachers who helped with judging, Mrs. Burns and Ms. Dusetzina for their help and support, and the janitorial staff who helped so much with the setup, tear down and reorganization. PS - for the upcoming 2016-2017 school year, we are in need of someone (or some two) to chair the science night portion of the event. Please email
