The Snowball Express Holiday Shop was bustling last week as the students had an opportunity to shop for their friends and family. Many sweet stories were shared on our Facebook page, and some kids were so excited about their selection, they already gave their presents to mom or dad! There are going to be a lot of moms and grandmas out there sporting some new bling. Special thanks to our chairs: Jodi Vollero, Paula Fetsko, and Megan Ciaramitaro for months of preparation and many hours working the shop itself. Also thanks to our parent volunteers who worked the shop: Beth Quinn, Shannon Mocharko, Crissy Lemke,
, Marlo Ayres,
Beth Davis, and
Excess for Recess chairs Laura Pasqualini and Pam Zimmerman were able to secure oodles of books and puzzles from local organizations, in particular, Half-Priced Books. Additionally, the Sloan families donated numerous items for the collection. The teachers shopped for their recess goods on Friday, 12/18. Special thanks to our chairs for their time and effort, thank you to Cristin Gorajczyk, Kelly Thomas and Carianne Bernadowski for working the shop, and thanks to all who donated.
A Clearance Workshop was sponsored by the district and hosted at Sloan on 12/7. Thanks to BethAnn Davis and Kelly Thomas for helping participants navigate the online process. The next workshop is likely not until Fall 2016, but we will keep you posted.
