Sloan Food Drive for the Backpacks to Program, February 8-19

How Can You Support the "Backpack-to-Go" Program to help our children? Please donate to the Sloan food drive! Our goal is to collect wholesome meals and snacks that a child can prepare themselves if necessary.

E
ach classroom is encouraged to fill a grocery bag during the food drive to help stock the pantry (see flier for more information. Your should also have received an email from your child's teacher). Gift cards to local grocery stores and cash donations will also be helpful. Please have your children bring in the donations that will be collected in bags in their
classrooms or feel free to drop off donations anytime during school hours with the greeter.

The "Backpacks-to-Go" Program is sponsored by our FRSD community which includes our PTO, teachers, students and their families, and area friends. The program is coordinated by the school counselors and parent volunteers. We provide a backpack filled with easy-to-prepare meals and snacks for weekends to our children.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact school counselors Laura Wurzell or Julie Fikejs.
