Snapchat versus Twitter
Widely differing Opinions

Los Angeles, March 1, 2017. - Is Snapchat a Facebook or a Twitter? Hardly ever have we seen experts so divided over such a potentially very large IPO.

While Snap’s IPO may be just days away, investors appear to be paying more attention to potential advertising opportunities for Snap rather than any past (after) IPO performance,  or solid financial data by similar companies.

“Wall Street’s view is that Snap is more Facebook than Twitter,”
Andrew Bary in Barron’s Magazine.

"Likening Snap to Twitter doesn’t make sense. The two services have about the same number of daily active users, but the comparison ends there. While Twitter has had almost zero points of innovation in the last several years (Moments does not count), Snap is accelerating its pace of innovation, all while changing the way its users and content partners think about the platform and the future of communication and advertising,

You be the judge.
