The 2014 Funniest Horse Video Contest, powered by horsetrader.com, is officially underway! All you need to do is capture a short video of your goofy horse (or a friend's goofy horse!) and submit the video to the official contest page to be entered to win over $1,000 in cash prizes. You can also enter to become a judge and help decide who will win first, second and third place. Awards and all videos will be presented at the Villas at Rancho Valencia World Cup Grand Prix of Del Mar CSI-W3* on Saturday, October 25, 2014.
California Horsetrader Publisher Warren Wilson, who recently became the 26th member of the American Horse Publications "Circle of Champions" shared, "We really appreciate the confidence placed in us to promote and engage a wider audience, and the first Funniest Horse Video contest at last year's Del Mar International did just that -- engage fans. Last year's contest was a huge success with several videos and judges entered. It was difficult to choose, but you voted and the winning video can be seen here or below.

Warren points out, "this year, with the extra lead time, the innovations Dale Harvey of West Palms Events has put into the 2014 show, and the things we've learned from last year's contest all point to an even better contest this year. Whether you are a contestant with a funny video, a judge or just a viewer being entertained, we want everyone to just have fun and be part of it. The more participation by all, the more fun for everyone!"
So go ahead and start filming! You can change your video at any time and judge as many videos as you'd like. We can't wait to see what you come up with and share your video at our 2014 Del Mar International CSI-W3* Horse Show this October.
