The 157th Annual Agricultural Fair takes place on Martha's Vineyard August 16-19! A fair, a carnival, an artisan show, a food truck palooza, an agricultural fair like no other! Pilgrim Progress will depart from the Mayflower Society House in Plymouth on four Fridays in August: August 3, 10, 17 and 24 from 6 to 7 pm. This unique cultural tradition began in 1921 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the arrival of the Mayflower and 102 passengers. The sexes and ages of those 51 survivors of that first winter are matched and represented by citizens and guests who dress as Pilgrims and re-create their procession to church. Begin at the Mayflower Society House off North Street, to Plymouth Rock, up Leyden Street to Burial Hill where an abbreviated worship service takes place.
