Breakfast Run - This Sunday, March 19 - 7:00am

Join us in preparing and delivering meals, clothing, toiletries, and conversation to hungry persons in Manhattan. We start at FUSW at 7AM with preparation (cooking and packing) and then we head out to NYC to serve a hot breakfast and hospitality. This is a great opportunity for families with children ages 8+ to do community service together. Donations of supplies and volunteers are always welcome.

  • Clothing and toiletries can be dropped off ahead of time in the white Run box on the porch at FUSW.  The most important items needed are new (not used) underwear and socks, as well as gently used warm layers (e.g., sweaters, sweatshirts, hoodies, gloves, hats, scarves) and all types of travel size toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, razors, combs, deodorant).

FUSW Notices

Join the First Unitarian Society of Westchester
Facebook group!
The First Unitarian Society of Westchester is a Facebook group for members and friends to share with the FUSW community at large. We hope this space is a dynamic environment to invite quick response and information sharing about our community.
We want to remind everyone that posts shared in this group are not reflective of the staff or stance of FUSW unless posted from the website or other FUSW sources. Much like congregational reflection, these posts reflect the voices of the individuals who post here. And much like congregational reflection, we ask that you think about the diversity of our community, including political, religious, racial, or other differences, before posting, and respect the voices of those who post here.  We want to continue to create an inclusive community online as well as in person.

Rev. Peggy Clarke will not be communicating on social media or email while away for sabbatical. We ask that you kindly don't message her on Facebook, social media, texts or email.  Let us give her the time to do this incredible ministry of her many climate justice initiatives for our congregation and the UUA.

Rev. Peggy Clarke sends everyone her love from her sabbatical and will be back at in June.
