Harvard's South Asian art
This week, Rachel Parikh, the Calderwood Curatorial Fellow of South Asian Art at Harvard Art Museums, took over SAI's Instagram account to share highlights of the museum's impressive South Asia collection.
Can you impact India and Pakistan?
SAI's Seed for Change Competition, now in its second year, awards grants of up to $40,000 to student projects that positively impact societal, economic, and environmental issues in India and Pakistan. The deadline to apply will be February 15, 2017.

Beef bans in India
Shaiba Rather, Harvard College '17, spent her summer conducting research for her senior thesis on the bans of the production and consumption of beef in India. "This topic contributes to a larger question of how identity politics are mobilized in multicultural democracies," she writes.
