#InspireMe Labour Market E-Bulletin
Issue 3 - 2016

Welcome to the latest edition of #InspireMe - the National Careers Service E-Bulletin for the South East of England.
Expecting GCSE or A Level Results In The Summer?

First of all - don't panic!

In most cases there is another route open to success, but it's not always easy to identify.  This is where impartial and independent careers guidance comes into its own.  A careers adviser can help a student see through the fog of confusion and, importantly, identify the real decisions that have to be taken.

Alternative progression routes can be explored, possibly requiring lower entry requirements, or, if grades are higher than expected, a shortcut or a more attractive course might be found.    Options with clear similarities can be suggested, and a clear path to the future identified, while decision-making and applications can be supported.

So, keep calm, seek help from your local careers services, school or college. You can also contact National Careers Service on 0800 100 900 or online  for free confidential support.
