2018 Summer School
Students Entering 5-year-old Kindergarten through Eighth Grade
July 23 - August 9
Monday - Thursday

8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. – Breakfast
9:00 a.m. - Noon – Instructional time
Noon - 12:30 p.m. – Lunch (lunch for public 11:30-12:30)

We believe in sustaining student learning throughout the year, so students don't lose educational growth during the summer. Studies since the 1970's have pointed to reading as one way to stem summer learning losses. In addition to summer reading, we believe summer math work is also important in the battle to keep children learning at their maximum achievement levels. Starting in first grade, math knowledge will be applied to everyday experiences as students discover math in everything they do.
