Hello Riverview Friends and Neighbours!

It's another busy couple of weeks on the horizon with lots going on in South Osborne. See below to learn more!

The Bugle will be sent biweekly on Tuesdays at 12PM. The deadline for materials to be included in them will be the preceding  Sunday.
Sports and Program Highlights!
JackRabbits Hockey
Registration for Jackrabbits hockey is now open. Enroll in this fun learn-to-skate program for children ages 3 and up at the RVCC!

JackRabbits Cross Country Skiing

Online registration for the 2016 Riverview JackRabbits Cross Country Skiing program is now open! Skiing sessions (with or without snow) will start on Sunday, November 22nd at 1:30 p.m.

Christmas Softball Camp at Westdale CC

Westdale CC is offering a softball camp over the holidays U10, U12 and U14 girls.

Ask Her Talks
This World AIDS Day, join the Stephen Lewis Foundation as we present the second installment of Ask Her Talks. This will be a unique opportunity to hear directly from an all-new group of African women experts at the frontlines of the response to the global HIV&AIDS epidemic.

RVCC Santa Brunch
Riverview Community Centre has confirmed that the annual Santa Brunch will be held on Saturday Dec. 12th this year.

Riverview Winter Classic Returns!

The Winter Classic will be returning in 2016 with the following events:

January 21-24 - Youth Hockey tournament for divisions 5/6, 7/8 and 10A2 boys.
January 24 - Frostbite River Run
February 5-6 - Annual Adult 4x4 Hockey Tournament

Volunteer Opportunities
Alzheimer Society Door-to-Door Canvassing

The Alzheimer Society is looking for volunteers to knock on doors and request donations this January during Alzheimer Awareness Month. The donations you collect support the Society's programs and services for people affected by Alzheimer's disease or another dementia, and in the search for a cure. If you can spare an hour or two canvassing a street in your neighbourhood, please register online at alzheimer.mb.ca or call 204-943-6622 (Winnipeg) or 1-800-378-6699 (Manitoba).


Breakfast with Santa
There are still a few spots to sign up for volunteering at the B reakfast with Santa in December.
