We would like to share our policy on using our email servers for spamming. The quality of emails being sent from our emails servers is our top priority. With this being our top priority we DO NOT allow the use of our servers for spamming. An email being sent to an email account, that the owner did not grant permission, for solicitation purposes is considered spam.
Sending spam from your Goozmo email account can affect everyone using our services. If spam is detected, our email server can be placed on a blacklist, blocking all emails being sent, from all accounts, that use our email servers. We have backup servers in place in the case of being blacklisted to prevent emails being blocked, but have to spend a lot of time trying to remove us from these lists and repair our reputation among the anti-spam community.
If an account is detected sending a large amount of emails that are clearly a solicitation, that account will be reviewed and possibly closed. If you have plans to send a large amount of emails, for marketing purposes, we highly encourage using a third party service to do so, and not your company/personal email account. Third party email marketing services are designed to handle a large number of emails, and monitor very closely if the email addresses you are sending to are legitimate and wanting to accept emails from you. If you are interested in bulk email sending to email lists that all accounts have opted into, we can suggest services for you.
