Spanish Town Hall Tax Questions And Answers.
Spanish town hall tax is also known as IBI tax which is similar to council tax in the UK .

The IBI tax is payable each year and can be debited direct from your spanish bank account.

The cost will depend generally on the size of your property, size of your plot and the proximity to services and infrastructure.

It is important when purchasing a property that your lawyer checks that the IBI tax is paid to date as you would inherit the debt if it has not been paid.

As an example of costs based on 2 bed apartment value 150,000 euros the IBI tax may be approximately 300 euros per annum.

I recommend that you purchase beds that have the storage underneath, a great place to put the extra bed linen, towels, your private belongings if renting out the property. 

Also have a bed that has enough room underneath to put the suitcases.

Always measure up before buying furniture, not great if your furniture takes over your lounge. Furniture packs are fine as long as you are dealing with a reputable company that can advise you on the right sizes.

Single beds with a pull out mattress take up less room than 2 single beds.
