Russ’ Raves

Thank you for taking the time to read Sparta High’s Spartan Spirit! We continue to have an excellent start to the school year and we continue to see our students grow and learn in so many ways!!!  Our fall activities have concluded and we are very proud of their effort and hard work they put into the activities. Winter activities are right around the corner, along with our winter fine arts season. I would encourage everyone to come out and see all of our students’ talents! Please keep encouraging your student(s) to be safe, responsible, respectful, and give their best effort in and out of SHS.
If your student(s) do miss school, please remind your student(s) to speak with their teachers immediately upon their return to get any missing work from when they were gone. All of our teachers are available before and after school; please encourage your student to seek extra help either during this time, resource, or during their study hall. With the cold/flu seasoning coming, I encourage all of our students to get enough rest to make sure they remain as healthy as possible.
Go Spartans!!!!!!!!!!!

Aggies in Indy!

FFA members attended the National convention in Indianapolis last week. We got to see Fair Oaks Swine, Kelsey Farm Dairy, Kuhn Knight, Hittle Landscaping, and Rascal Flatts in concert. Our students really learned a lot about opportunities in FFA and developed friendships with others around the country.
