ACT wants to hear from you!
If you have expertise and real-world experience to share through a presentation, participation on a discussion panel, poster display or conducting a training session on an important current topic before the largest gathering of TDM professionals in the world, this is your opportunity to help shape the future of our industry.
The Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) is
accepting proposal for speakers at the ACT International Conference, to be held in New Orleans, LA, July 30 - August 2, 2017.

Our 2017 conference will attract 500 TDM professionals and practitioners from across the United States and around the globe, representing public and private sector employers and providers of services and programs, universities and non-profit organizations, as we gather to share best practices and emerging innovations, engage with colleagues, and take part in intensive training workshops, discussions and educational tours.
Desired Session Themes and Topics:
New Trends and Innovations
- new technologies and approaches to advancing TDM.
Local and Regional Flavor
- TDM and mobility programs and initiatives that are specific to the New Orleans and Gulf Coast areas.
Transportation System Challenges
- Developing solutions and responses to a variety of challenges facing commuters and our transportation systems.
Suburban and Rural TDM -
planning, implementing and operating mobility services for non-urban environments and areas where public transit services are limited or non-existent.
Marketing & Communications
- Promotion of transportation options is central to the administration of TDM programs.
