NYHC POLICY SYMPOSIUM: AFFORDABLE HOUSING STRATEGIES TO HELP PRESERVE PUBLIC HOUSING

With a $17 billion backlog of unmet capital needs, can affordable housing strategies be applied to the nation's largest housing authority to help preserve aging public housing in need of costly repairs?  Policy makers, practitioners and resident leaders will discuss HUD's Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) and plans to build on NYCHA land.   Program will feature:
