In response to tensions and events around the world, and now in San Bernardino, Dave Grishaw-Jones welcomes Imam Houcine Ahmed for a generous conversation about trust, peacemaking and faith in our times.

Dave and Houcine are understandably concerned about a rise in Islamophobia around the country.  They hope that their 'public conversation' will highlight the enormous good will and friendship spirit between our communities in this dangerous time.

As imam at the Islamic Center in Live Oak, Houcine is a spiritual leader for the area's growing Muslim community and a compassionate voice for all of us in Santa Cruz County.  Recently, he's helped the Islamic Center begin conversations around participation and membership in COPA!  On Sunday afternoon, he and Dave will explore similarities and differences in our traditions, as well our many shared hopes for healing and collaboration.
