We've officially passed the last week of the 2014 Bike to Work Challenge. We hope you had as much fun participating and following it as we had hosting it! We are super excited to announce our top trip takers, our winning bike team and last week's Most Miles Biked Winner.

But there's so much more!

Be sure to join us in Morristown at the end of the month for our Commuter Palooza party. We'll have free t-shirts, door prizes, appetizers and drink specials for all who come. Bring your friends, family, coworkers and bring your bike so you can join Bike Walk Town's monthly Bike Party Ride. After the ride we'll cool off with a drink at Hops where we'll be raffling off our Champion Challenger Prizes

Check out the full leader board at GoForGood.TransOptions.org

First place, second place, and third place Champion Challengers will be chosen through three raffles. Remember the more commutes you rode, the more times your name will be entered into the raffle! For more info check out the BTWC Prizes page.

Congratulations to newcomers to the 2014 Bike to Work Challenge from Montclair! For their dedication each member will receive a $50 Visa Gift Card. Way to go!

Congratulations to Kendra Khawaja, our fourth and final Most Miles Biked winner! Last week Kendra biked an impressive 209 miles!

Kendra rides to work to stay fit and healthy. Using her bike instead of owning a personal vehicle, Kendra says she commutes by bike because she "likes the idea of functional exercise that doesn't feel like work," plus "biking is fun!". Kendra bikes double to work riding to two positions in Ridgewood and in East Hanover from her home in Paterson. Kendra varies her commute to Ridgewood by switching up her route where she rides anywhere from six to 15 miles and then an additional 18.4 miles on her ride to work in East Hanover. On her way to East Hanover, Kendra incorporates a segment of the West Essex Trail which she describes as being the highlight of her ride to work!

Kendra's Commuting tip: "Blinky lights and bright, reflective clothing."

For inspiring us all Kendra will receive a $100 Visa gift card!
