We invite you to join us for this exceptional two-part legislative update event that may be the single most important program you attend all year.  If you are a staffing company owner, CEO or high-level executive, you should absolutely attend this event.  You will gain a clear understanding of what is to come legislatively in 2014 and will be able to prepare your company for those outcomes.

What Does a New Mayor and City Council Speaker Mean for the Staffing Industry?

Part 1: As you may or may not know, NYSA has retained the services of an additional lobbyist, Bolton St-Johns, specific to New York City and they will be answering your questions regarding what the newly elected leadership of NYC will mean for your staffing company and for the staffing industry.  There has been much concern with how we will be impacted, what new legislation is being introduced that will adversely impact staffing, as well as a general overview of the policies and practices that DeBlasio will enforce. We will discuss legislative outlook, trends and related issues.

How to Comply with the New Paid Sick Leave Law Effective April 1st

Part 2:  Legislative Chairman, Jim Essey of The TemPositions Group of Companies, General Counsel, Joel Klarreich, Esq and Associate General Counsel, Jason Klimpl, Esq of THSH will present an overview of Paid Sick Leave and present some options for cost minimization and recapture.
