We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the 2012 Talking Stick Festival as it was a great success and filled with such amazing talent and performances! And our very own On The Cusp program during the festival held at The Cultch was incredible, thank you for your support and contribution to our two sell-out evenings and for attending the dance workshops and panels!
We are also pleased to announce that because our Pow-Wow boot camp with Nyla Carpentier was such a great success in January and February, that we will begin another 7 week Pow-Wow program on Sunday April 1st!And on the heels of Pow-Wow, we want to also take this opportunity to remind everyone that our Early-Bird Deadline of March 15th for our Spring Training Intensive is fast approaching! Register today to reserve your spot for our Spring Intensive Training May 25-June 2, 2012. We are excited to showcase exceptional instructors that will be offering a variety of dance styles including Pow-Wow, Contemporary dance, Metis and Westcoast Traditional as well as hip-hop, voice & song! Vancouver based Raven Spirit Dance Company was founded in 1999 by Artistic Director Michelle Olson of the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in First Nation (Yukon) and is committed to the creation, development and production of Contemporary Aboriginal Dance.
