Special Easter Events Kick-Off - This Friday Movie Night!

MOVIE NIGHT

This Friday, March 23rd @ 7 PM! "The Young Messiah" PG-13

Join us this Friday, March 23rd to help us kick-off our week of special Easter events!

Although the Bible is largely silent on the events of Jesus' childhood, this movie imagines what Jesus' childhood must have been like growing up as the Son of God! Watch "The Young Messiah" movie trailer!

The movie will be shown upstairs in our Creator's Theater. Free popcorn and child care will be provided!

Envisioning & Equipping Event

This Sunday @ 11:45 AM

Every last Sunday of the month, we hold our Envisioning & Equipping event. This is an opportunity to come and get equipped for ministry, as well as to join in to help plan for upcoming outreach events. All are invited to attend!

This Sunday, come help us to put the final touches on our Easter outreach! Free lunch and child care will be provided. Meets upstairs in the Creator's Theater!

Easter week events will line up as follows:

March 23rd, Friday – Movie Night @ 7 PM - showing "The Young Messiah" PG13 upstairs in the Creator's Theater!.
March 25th, Sunday @ 10 AM – Palm Sunday
March 30th, Friday @ 7 PM – Good Friday Service With all-day fast & meal served at 8 PM. (For those fasting, be sure to fast based on your own comfort level. Some may completely abstain from food, whereas others may consider only eating fruits and vegetables or drinking juices.)
April 1st, Sunday, @ 10 AM – Easter Sunday + Egg Hunt @ 11:30 - Egg hunt will take place downstairs in the Commons!

"Small Church, Big Impact" Conference!

Saturday, April 14th 10am-3pm

The Well Community Fellowship in Modesto

This one-day conference is geared for pastors and church leaders of all size churches, but in particular, churches under 200 in average Sunday morning attendance. You will receive practical teaching and ideas on how to impact your community and expand the Kingdom of God. This will be a great opportunity for both individuals and entire leadership teams. Dr. Tim Brown, from Growing Healthy Churches, will share his insights and experience in leading and revitalizing churches!

All are invited to attend! The cost will be covered by our church and carpooling will be arranged for all those who attend. Be sure to respond soon since spaces are limited!

Job Openings at Kim's Cafe - Our next door neighbor, Kim's Cafe (Vietnamese cafe), has asked if there are any individuals in our church who are interested in working there either part-time or full-time to serve in all areas in the cafe. Employees are also given FREE FOOD (think banh mi sandwiches and spring rolls!) as well as training in how to prepare Vietnamese food! College students are encouraged to apply! If interested, please speak with the owner, Kathy, and let her know that you are with our church!
