Michelle Lacy, Parks and Recreation Director,
Takes on a New Role

Michelle Lacy  has accepted the position of General Manager of the Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District. This is a wonderful opportunity for Michelle as she moves on to a larger organization with a great deal more responsibility and challenges. Her last day with the City of Orinda will be August 12, 2016.

All of the staff here in Orinda have enjoyed working with Michelle for more than 4 years. She has brought an amazing energy to our Parks and Recreation Department and to the overall organization.

Besides the capital projects Michelle has helped bring to fruition, one of her greatest accomplishments has been pulling together a remarkable team with staff who are engaged, innovative, positive, and very customer service driven.

Upon Michelle's recommendation and the City Manager's concurrence, Todd Trimble will serve in the Interim capacity starting August 15, 2016.

Todd has an extensive background in parks and recreation having worked for:  Hayward Area Recreation and Park District, City of Walnut Creek Recreation Division and the Pleasanton and Piedmont Community Services Department.   Todd earned his undergraduate degree in Recreation Administration and a graduate degree in the same field.

Congratulations Michelle - we will miss you!
