Summer Institute For Jewish Teaching & Learning

RE-IMAGINING Jewish Education Through Art adapts a ground-breaking approach in arts-based education pioneered by Lincoln Center Education. It is an exciting training seminar from July 20th to 23rd at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.

Join Lincoln Center Education teaching artists and our project team for a unique immersive art and text experience.

We will discover:

  • How the visual arts ignite capacities for learning and discovery
  • How to energize and deepen the study of foundational biblical and rabbinic texts
  • How to engage students in classrooms, art-workshops, museums and gallery settings using this aesthetic educational framework

Re-Imagining is a national initiative incubated at Yeshiva University Museum in NYC with the support of the Covenant Foundation. Financial support is available for qualified participants.

Applications are due on June 1st.

Following the institute, participants will have the opportunity to join an ongoing year-long program of imaginative engagement with art and classical Jewish texts for both teachers and students.
