Special Location and Start Time for Market!
Easton Farmers' Market will operate from 10am - 6pm on Northampton Street this Saturday
 
 
It's festival time! Follow your nose to Northampton Street where you'll find most of your favorite farmers and vendors located up and down the block outside the Easton Public Market. The Farm-to-Fest block will feature EFM and EPM vendors as well as the Farm-to-Fest culinary stage. Don't miss our Garlic Growers Contest from 11am-1pm and the Mystery Basket Cook-Off at 3:00 pm. You can even get a garlic head caricature done at the Highmark Farmstand tent! And Dundore & Heister will be outside offering garlicky cheese steaks!

Broccoli is at its best in the fall - sweet, crisp and flavorful! Garlic, lemon and red pepper flakes make this recipe sing! You'll find broccoli this Saturday at Blooming Glen Farm, Salvaterra's Gardens and Scholl Orchards.

Blooming Glen Farm

Blooming Glen has some gorgeous garlic braids this week along with with beets, celeriac, purple top turnips, fennel and a cool variety of radishes including watermelon, black and daikon. Plus lots of cabbage, arugula, and beautiful fall bouquets.

NEW Garlic Snack Sticks  

Team Breakaway is fully prepared to help you 'get your stink on' at Garlic Fest this weekend!! 
Among the many Garlicky items they make (Pork Sausages, Poultry Sausages, Lamb Sausages, Charcuterie, & Bacon), they're also introducing  their Garlic Snack Sticks! Made with their pastured pork & Local Fresh Garlic, you will love the flavor in these!

Apple Ridge Farm  
Vampires Beware!!! 
 
Apple Ridge Farm will be participating in Garlic Fest on BOTH Saturday and Sunday. They'll take stinky to new heights with their Garlic 3 Ways Focaccia, featuring raw garlic, roasted garlic, and black garlic... WOW! They'll also be featuring their garlic mustard (great with their soft pretzels),and their famous Vampire Repellent garlic dip.
 
Jenny's Kuali
New Garlic-Ginger Cream Cheese Spread
    
Jenny is really embracing the stinking rose with this week's garlic-inspired menu. Besides their famous ginger garlic sauce, Jenny's will be offering an 8oz. tub of cream cheese ginger garlic spread ($5.00). Look for fresh snow pea shoots in a semi spicy garlic broth served with a side of 2 vegetable fried wontons ($5); Cold Sesame cellophane noodles (mung bean gluten-free) tossed with nappa cabbages, red bell pepper and scallion in a chile garlic vinaigrette ($5); Turmeric garlic chive pancakes ($5); and Sambal Brinjal - young tender Chinese eggplant with hot spiced garlic sauce ($7). For dessert there's Mochi - filled with and peanut and coated with shredded coconut ($4) - yummy! 
 
 



Flour Shop Bakery

Along with sticky buns, black bottom cupcakes, crostini and all your other favorites, Flour Shop will be featuring a delicious roasted garlic and mozzarella sourdough in celebration of the fest!


 
Scholl Orchards
Summer Doesn't Want to Say Goodbye! 
 
Fresh cold cider is the perfect beverage to accompany al those garlicky delights you'll be eating this weekend. Look for those sweet and spicy cider donuts, plus plenty of pears, apples, and squash, and believe it not they are still picking tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, and melons (summer doesn't want to say goodbye). There will also be a lovely array of cauliflower and broccoli.
