Special Panel:
Our Journey from Acceptance to Celebration & Advocacy

Our special panel this evening will represent a
spectrum of "Coming Out" stories. The journey to acceptance can look very different from one person to the next and the arrival of gratitude and celebration a welcome gift. We will hear form two mothers of gay children along with an "Out and Proud" lesbian learning to live in the world with a family that is still struggling.  What hinders the journey and what helps?  There will be time for sharing and support.

Deja Re's Medical Fund
Deja Re had a bad stumble during a hike she was on last week. (16 firefighters from search and rescue took her down the mountain, she knows how to do it) She is currently in a cast and may actually need surgery after breaking a couple of bones in her foot. Deja is an entertainer and is known for her high energy dance performances plus she also teaches dance to kids. So using her feet is key to her success........Deja will be down for awhile not able to perform, work or teach. We are getting togther to help her with her medical bills and loss of wages. Deja has done so much for our community so let's help her out in this time of need!!!!
