This workshop is for midwives, childbirth educators, doulas, nurses, nurse practitioners, obstetricians, prenatal yoga instructors, prenatal bodyworkers, perinatal case managers, community health workers and others who work with birthing women.  

 

Labor Progress and Optimal Fetal Positioning with 3 Principles of Spinning Babies

We will be looking at the effects of posterior position in pregnancy and labor, and practicing activities for pregnancy comfort, optimal fetal positioning, cesarean avoidance and labor progress. Explore pregnancy and labor techniques to help baby navigate the pelvic floor and stations of the pelvis. Learn how to select technique by the labor pattern. Know when to do what  

and why - to help baby engage, for transverse arrest and more!
