Spirit's New O'Hare Service to Minneapolis-St. Paul Starts Today
CHICAGO, IL - June 1, 2012 - Spirit Airlines today began new service between Chicago O'Hare International Airport and Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport, offering three daily nonstop flights.

"On behalf of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, the City of Chicago and the Chicago Department of Aviation, I want to thank Spirit Airlines for continuing to grow its operations at O'Hare International Airport," said Chicago Department of Aviation Commissioner Rosemarie S. Andolino. "Spirit's new service between Chicago and Minneapolis-St. Paul enhances competition and expands options for travelers at O'Hare."
Spirit operates more than 190 daily flights to over 45 destinations throughout the U.S., Latin America and Caribbean.
With the addition of the new Spirit service, airlines at O'Hare operate more than 25 daily flights to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
