We are nearing the beginning of our 2016-17 season, starting with camps in August, followed by entrance auditions. Our rehearsal season will begin on September 12th.

Summer Camps

We have camps that take place in August for SYS students from all four orchestras as well as new students who are interested in participating in an SYS orchestra.

Sensational Summer Music Festival, for Symphony and Philharmonic orchestras will take place  August 8-11 at St. John's Cathedral, 127 E. 12th Ave. in the Great Hall and Community Room. The camp concert will be on Thursday, August 11th at 6 p.m. in the Cathedral. For more information about this camp, you can download the SSMF brochure.

SYS Day Camp at HNMC is a two-day camp on August 19 & 20 for members of Strings and Sinfonietta at Holy Names Music Center, 3910 W. Custer Drive. For more information about this camp, download the SYS Day Camp at HNMC brochure.
