In 2016, the Goodyear Fill-a-Need program provided clothing, toys, food and non-perishable items to more than 200 children from 40 Goodyear families.
Loss of employment, injury or illness, abandonment and loss of a loved one are examples of circumstances that most often negatively affect the ability of individuals and families to provide gifts for children during the holiday season.

The Goodyear Fill-A-Need program is gearing up to brighten the holiday season by helping connect families in need with the generous gifts and donations made available through a cooperative effort administered by city of Goodyear employees, and includes various partnerships with the local businesses, schools, non-profit organizations, and residents.

In the fall of each year, the city receives referrals of families in need from school, law enforcement, and other partners. The program primarily focuses on providing items for children that parents are unable to provide such as clothing, school supplies, and toys. Food and common household items such as toiletries and cleaning supplies are also provided.

Use this referral/application form to recommend a family to be selected for the program.
