Wilmette, Illinois---- To celebrate the closing of the 800th Jubilee of the Order of Preachers on January 21, the Regina Dominican High School preachers invited Dominican preachers from the Chicagoland area and Wisconsin high schools to a Dominican gathering.

Rosarian Academy Celebrates Christmas by Reaching Out
West Palm Beach, Florida----While many children might see Christmas as a time to focus on the gifts they will be receiving, the students at Rosarian Academy focused instead on giving gifts to the greater community. Along with faculty, staff, and parents, they showed their generosity in many ways.
A Day of Service: How 10 Students Celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Adrian, Michigan---- Ten Siena Heights University students took time out of their day on January 16 to complete a service project. While students at SHU were given the day off in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr., these 10 students chose to look at the day as a "day on," not a day off.
Detroit, Michigan---- At Siena Literacy Center on the Northwest side of Detroit, the Adrian Dominican Sisters and their partners in ministry have pledged lives and resources to address issues of racism and to work with people on the margins to make a difference one life at a time. The daily focus is on enhancing one more skill ... one, by one, by one.

Henderson, Nevada----Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican Hospital serves seniors in the Las Vegas valley by providing peer counseling. This program provides confidential, personal, and supportive one-on-one counseling to people older than 50 who are facing the challenges and concerns of aging, including loss and bereavement, retirement, health issues, relationships, housing, and loneliness.
