Brownsburg High School's Team 3176 Robotics Team wins the Spirit Award at the Indiana State District Tournament
TEAM 3176, THE BHS ROBOTICS TEAM, HAS GREAT SHOWING AT STATE TOURNAMENT
For the first time under a new format, the BHS robotics team, Team 3176, advanced to the Indiana State District Tournament April 2-4, 2015. BHS Project Lead the Way (engineering) teacher Chris Floyd is the sponsor for this club and had an exciting report from the experience.  "Our students had a SOLID robot that was consistent. Each round we improved; scoring more points, working better strategies within our alliances, and even improving the robot by adding more capabilities to score points.  While we did not make it to the finals round, we had FUN!  Everyone supporting us was very enthusiastic, and we won the coveted SPIRIT AWARD!  Thanks to all of you - parents, families, community, sponsors - who support these kiddos - this was a truly wonderful experience for everyone!"
