BCSC ISTEP SCORES IN TOP 3 IN THE AREA
We salute the teachers and students of BCSC for outstanding achievement in this spring's ISTEP. The scores released this week show record highs in English/Language Arts and Math as well as the number of students passing both tests - for the 4th year in a row. Of the 289 Indiana school corporations, BCSC is one of only four who have been in the top six for three consecutive years.

FOOD PANTRY NOW OPEN ON THE 1st/3rd/5th THURSDAY OF THE MONTH AT ALPHA
Life Skills students in the Collaborators for Success program at BHS spend part of their week setting up a food pantry that is now open for Brownsburg middle school and high school students.  Since BCSC elementary students participate in the Gleaners Back Sack program, this new service was added to serve families of students in grades 6-12.  Visitors can use door #7 at the ALPHA/Harris Academy building, 725 C South Green Street.  The pantry is open from 3:00-5:30pm on the 1st/3rd/5th Thursdays of the month and is staffed by BCSC volunteers.  If you would like to make a donation to the food pantry, please contact Tracy Damone at tdamone@brownsburg.k12.in.us.
