Brownsburg Schools Music Programs Nationally Recognized
|
|
Brownsburg Schools has been honored with the 2016 BEST COMMUNITIES FOR MUSIC EDUCATION designation from the NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education. BCSC joins only 14 districts in Indiana who received this prestigious award in 2016! The Best Communities Music Education designation is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students. Districts that have been recognized by the NAMM Foundation are often held up as models for other educators looking to boost their own music education programs. |

Healthy Tips from Indiana University Health
With summer approaching it's finally time to start thinking about fun in the sun. Before you head outside here are a few healthy tips to keep in mind.
Sun Facts:
* Sun exposure can cause long-term damage to skin, including aging and cancer.
* Wear sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or above. Look for one that provides "broad spectrum" protection from both ultraviolet A (UVA) that ages skin, and ultraviolet B (UVB) rays that cause burns.
* Make sure you apply sunscreen multiple times during the day, not just once.
These tips are provided by the physicians and staff of the IU Health Urgent Care in Brownsburg who hope you have a fun, safe summer. As a reminder, they're open seven days a week, with no appointment needed for those times when summer doesn't go so well, including possible broken bones, or even routine sports physicals.
