Current students who will be returning do not need to register online. Incoming Kindergarten and Preschool students, and anyone who will be new to Brownsburg Schools in the upcoming school year can register STARTING MARCH 1, 2017.

BHS CONSTRUCTION NEWS
Parents in grades 6-12 are now receiving quarterly updates about the renovation and expansion project at Brownsburg High School. These updates will provide important information as this project moves forward. The project is currently in what is called Phase 1A. This phase includes the purchase of new equipment for the updated mechanical room for the renovated building. While this phase has no impact to students at BHS, the project is underway.

BHS Theatre students' performance of the play "Hard Candy" finished 5th at the Indiana State Thespian Conference last month. Twenty of the students received excellent or superior ratings in their individual performances. Dinah Ferguson was named a Distinguished Senior and STATE CHAMPION in costuming. Rachel Johnson was named STATE CHAMPION in scenic design for the second year in a row. BHS was also recognized as one of only five schools to earn the distinction of being a "GOLD MEDAL HONOR TROUPE" based on their community service, outreach, productions, and educational work throughout the year.

BAND STUDENTS EXCEL AT STATEWIDE CONTESTS
BHS Jazz placed first in the Indiana State University Jazz Festival with the outstanding solo award going to senior Andy Vorndran. Senior trombone Conor Nolan (2nd year) and sophomore tenor sax Jonathan Heidegger (alternate) represented BHS proudly at the Indiana Bandmaster Association All State Band event.
