NEXT STEPS OF YOUR STUDENT'S EDUCATIONAL JOURNEY 

BCSC administrators will share information about the many opportunities your student will be able to experience as they move forward from elementary to middle school to high school.  The presentation will cover a variety of topics including: the different diploma types offered, Advanced Placement classes, Dual College Credit, Area 31 technical offerings, secondary math progression, fine arts, club opportunities, job training for life skills students, and more.  We hope you can make it for this discussion to help prepare your family for what's next.  You are welcome to attend either session as they will be identical.  Presenters include Superintendent Jim Snapp, Assistant Superintendent Kat Jessup, BHS Principal Bret Daghe, BEMS Principal Shane Hacker, and BWMS Principal Laurie Johnson.

BHS CONSTRUCTION NEWS

Parents in grades 6-12 are now receiving quarterly updates about the renovation and expansion project at Brownsburg High School.  These updates will provide important information as this project moves forward.  The project is currently in what is called Phase 1A.  This phase includes the purchase of new equipment for the updated mechanical room for the renovated building.  While this phase has no impact to students at BHS, the project is underway.

BHS quarterback Hunter Johnson was named Mr. Football by the Indianapolis Star. He's the first Bulldog to receive this honor. (Click the photo above to read the article from the Indy Star.)  Hunter will also play in Saturday's U.S. Army All-American Bowl at 1pm on NBC.
Reagan Elementary 4th grade students celebrated Indiana's Bicentennial birthday by making special Indiana cakes.

Brownsburg High School Drama Club will be hosting its annual Theatre Kids Camp on Saturday, January 28th.  The theme this year is "CANDYLAND".  Students in grades 1-8 who love to act, create, sing, dance, & perform are welcome to participate.

Earlier this month, Student Council members from White Lick Elementary joined with CHAIN Link student government from West Middle School to make care kits for the Harbor Light Center through the The Salvation Army Indiana Division. (Click the picture above to see video from the event.)

The students on Ms. Nicki's Eagle Elementary bus collected over $420 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation through the annual 99.5 WZPL Indianapolis Request-a-thon and heard their song - The Wheels on the Bus!
