SPREADING THE LOVE

Not all knitting or crocheting is a labor of love... sometimes it's simply an expression of caring or gesture of kindness.

And it's not surprising that among our love-filled community, we have crafters who want to reach out and share their works of love with others...

PBYS is happy to have two charitable knitting efforts underway... 

Friend of the shop Lori Biamonte is spearheading an effort to gather hats for Halos for Hope which distributes handmade hats to 450 cancer treatment centers nationally. Deadline: April 4, 2015.

And Cindy Mautner is leading the charge to support Stitch Out Cancer, whose goal is to have 2,500 scarves by the time of the Tri -For-A-Cure event in July .
