Institute for LGBT Studies University of Arizona
November 11, 2015
The Institute for LGBT Studies is seeking presenters for its Spring 2016 Deep Dish Speaker Series to be held every Thursday from January 28th until April 7th, 2016.

Have a paper on a LGBT-related research, academic, and/or social justice topic that you wish to present?  Would you like to share information about a LGBT community initiative that you are developing? Want a chance to meet scholars, community members, students, and others interested in discussing LGBT-related research, social issues, and/or in building LGBT community across the University of Arizona campus and Tucson?  If so, Deep Dish is the place for you!

Deep Dish is a weekly lecture series hosted by the Institute that is casual, conversational, informal and, best of all, there is free pizza! The goal of Deep Dish is to build diverse networks across the University of Arizona and the larger Tucson community, as well as provide a space to share information among faculty, students, staff, and community members interested in LGBT research and social issues. If you are interested in being a speaker for Spring Deep Dish 2016, please drop Katherine Freeman a line at [email protected] or give her a call at 520-621-0326 so that your speaking slot can be reserved ASAP.  We only have a few spaces left, so act fast!
