CIMS Cloud Features - GPS
CIMS Cloud and eCIMS ( burialsearch.com ) both offer the ability to show your location on your cemetery map. How does this work? What does all this mean for you as a CIMS Cloud user? It means you can walk out into your cemetery with your favorite smartphone, tap the compass button on the map controls (shown below), and a blue dot will be added to your map, indicating your location. In eCIMS, you want to tap the Compass (GPS) icon at the top of the screen. When you press these buttons you will be asked for permission to share your location information. If you answer yes, then you will see a timer spinner until your GPS location is found. If you are located more than 5 miles outside of your cemetery, a notice will be shown, stating "You are too far away from the cemetery to be located on this map." Please note that if you are using a device that does not have GPS capabilities, CIMS will instead use Web GPS, which gets its location from your Internet connection instead of GPS satellites.

100 Cemeteries on CIMS Cloud
Welcome Nathan Cavanagh

100 Cemeteries on CIMS Cloud!
Ramaker was in the process of Developing CIMS Cloud from 2013 until the end of the year in 2015. Ramaker opened up CIMS Cloud to all of our clients in June of 2016. We are excided to announce that in March, 2017, we had our 100th cemetery go "live" on CIMS Cloud. This transition has kept our staff very busy, but CIMS Cloud is proving to be a reliable web-based platform for cemeteries to manage their data.
