Natural History Hikes
at Osborn Preserve

NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Take advantage of the healing powers of nature while exploring diverse ecosystems on Sonoma Mountain. The Naturalist Training Program prepares university students and community members to lead guided tours focusing on natural history and local environmental processes. Adaptable to participant abilities. Expect at least 1 mile and 200 foot gain.

Event Logistics:

Meeting Time, Location & Directions: Hikes leave promptly at 10am from the Osborn Preserve parking lot. Parking is limited so each event will be capped at 10 families. If you can carpool, please let me know and we will raise the cap accordingly.

What to Bring: Butterfly nets and insect viewers will be provided. Bring lunch, water bottle, walking shoes, long pants, and sunscreen. Prepare for weather as rain does not cancel.

Details: You will be asked to sign a waiver. There is a restroom and potable water available at the beginning and end of the event. No pets or smoking are permitted. Children must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
