Dear STM Family,

Spring Break is almost here which means that the school year is 2/3 complete - my oh my, how time flies! There is lots of information below, so don't miss out and keep on perusing the newsletter.

Lent is here along with an increased focus on making our selves, our school, and our local and global community better versions of themselves. We look forward to helping your students along this journey and having them help us as staff in like manner. Lent is a time for preparation through fasting, alms-giving, and prayer. While we will not make your children fast, we will provide them opportunities to give to others (see blanket project below) and pray.

We hope that you will join us tomorrow morning for March's First Friday Coffee after drop-off and for the parent Happy Hour on March 15th from 6;30PM-8PM to learn more about this year's auction and how you can be a part of it all. For more information, please contact Kara Fairbairn, the Auction Chair at

Remember - tuition pays for the ordinary, philanthropy pays for the extraordinary!  Thank you for helping us be extraordinary through your time, consideration, and support of all of our children. We will see you at The Great Gatsby Gala in April! Please save the date and look forward to tickets going on sale soon. Tickets will be $50 until March 31, and $75 thereafter. Whole tables can be purchased as well.

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam (to the greater glory of God),

Mr. Olsen

Please Remember -
STM is a charitable organization for tax purposes. Please consider a tax-deductible gift to St. Thomas More Catholic School in your yearly giving and estate planning. Each gift helps ignite a lifetime of learning.

Saint Thomas More Church's Stewardship Committee to Focus on Planned Giving

Now that our annual stewardship pledging has concluded, your STM Stewardship Committee is turning its attention to bolstering our planned giving  efforts. If you have experience in this area, we could use your assistance!

No need to make a long-term commitment, this could just be a one-time project. We are looking for professionals with estate planning experience as well as anyone interested in helping us create and sustain this important program.

Please contact Michael Sarafolean at if you are interested in learning how you might help. Thank you for your consideration.

Keep on clipping those Box Tops!

Earn Cash for STM with Box Tops.  Buy, Clip, Send and Earn!

We NEED your Box Tops!!!  Get busy clipping those Box Tops.  February is the month to turn them into cash for our school.  We have collected almost $300 so far this year for our school.

A few places to look for boxtops.....
1.  Check your kitchen cupboards, the pantry, and even the refrigerator.
2.  Do not forget your tissue boxes and office supplies.
3.  Ask your family, friends, and even your neighbors!

Do you have a Smart Phone?  Box Tops for Education has launched an App to help schools earn even more.  Download the App, find offers, buy products and scan your receipts.  And you can still clip the boxtop for cash for our school!

Do you want to send your kids on a scavenger hunt to find boxtops?  Print a collection sheet and have fun finding those boxtops.  Each one is worth 10 cents.

Collection boxes are located outside of the School Office and downstairs on the Preschool table

Thanks so much and keep clipping!!!
