Silbury Hill Alpacas & Spring Harvest Mill
March 2014
 News                                                Classes

Dear Friends,

The alpacas are enjoying the spring weather, just like us. Soon we will start halter-training the little ones. This is a great time to visit!

Our Fiber Artist Gatherings are still happening every third Sunday of the month at 2pm. Everyone is welcome - we usually have people doing all sorts of fiber projects - knitting, weaving, spinning, etc. This is a great place to bring any projects and questions you have. Our next Gathering is March 16th at 2pm.

We have several classes on the farm this spring: details here ------------------------>

Bob is teaching his Beginning Weaving Class April 19th, and has added an Intermediate Weaving class on April 26thDanise's Crocheting with Rug Yarn class is coming soon on March 22nd.

We have also added a new class, An Afternoon at the Mill on April 12th, where we give a detailed look at how fiber goes through each machine in the mill.

Shearing will happen in mid-May. We will send out an announcement once we have a date.

We continue to enjoy all that alpaca farming offers and always look forward to sharing it all with you. Come see us soon!

Wishing you well,
The Cathels
(Bob, Danise, Diane, Anthony, Sarah, and Baby Aidan)
