Golisano Children's Hospital has a host of amazing fundraisers coming up this spring, which span the gamut from craft shows to dinner dances. Many of these event organizers have unique personal connections to the hospital, which have compelled them to find creative ways to give back. Read below to learn about these great events and the touching personal stories that motivated our wonderful supporters to give. 

Vendor/Craft Sale - Little Jacob spent the first three months of his life at Golisano Children's Hospital. Now, his team of supporters, Jacob's Joyful Angels will host a vendor/craft sale in his honor 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 8, at the Bushman Cabin in Henrietta Town Park. Taylor Brush Dinner Dance - Jen and Tim Brush will remember their daughter Taylor, who was treated at Golisano Children's Hospital, during their 9th annual dinner dance at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the River's Edge Party House. Row for Strong Kids - For the past four years, Jill Lennox has held the Row for Strong Kids fundraiser to benefit Golisano Children's Hospital and the Pittsford Crew team. This event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the Bon Ton Court at Eastview Mall. 

Euchre Tournament - The Milburn family will hold their annual euchre tournament in honor of 2009 Miracle Kid Cory Milburn at 6 p.m. Friday, April 22, at North Greece Fireman's Exempt. Click here to learn more. 

Bunco Night - The Shaw family wasn't at Golisano Children's Hospital's neonatal intensive care unit for long, but the compassionate their daughter Fiona received has compelled them to find new ways to give, on top of all the fundraising they do with their Fiona and Friends Team for the Stroll for the Strong Kids. Learn more about the first-ever Bunco Night fundraiser, set to begin at 6 p.m. Friday, May 13, at Risen Christ Church. Sandy's Friends

Golisano Children's Hospital is starting a new group for supporters called Sandy's Friends. The group is open to anyone who wants to help make a difference for kids. Light hors d'oeuvres, water and soft drinks will be served at a special kick-off event early next month, and the overall concept behind Sandy's Friends will be introduced in an open forum discussion format.

Stroll Team Captains Share

Julie Tortora rushed her 17-day-old baby to the Pediatric Emergency Department at URMC when Stella started having breathing problems. Four years later, Stella is a lovely, lively, beautiful little girl. Read about Stella's journey from Julie's perspective here.
