With over 19 widely-praised albums to its credit, BBC Music Magazine marked this important milestone with a special cover CD featuring David and Wu Han's new recording.

The Barns at Wolf Trap Appoints  
Wu Han Artistic Advisor of the 
Chamber Music Series

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts has appointed Wu Han Artistic Advisor for Chamber Music at the Barns for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons. Wu Han, the first Artistic Advisor to hold the position for two full seasons, will curate programs for Chamber Music at the Barns, performing on the series herself and showcasing some of today's most important chamber musicians. The full Chamber Music at the Barns 2018-19 season line up will be announced in August.

A Week of Historic Firsts
In yet another historic collaboration, the Chamber Music Society--with Artistic Directors David and Wu Han at the helm--reunited with  Live From Lincoln Center for the TV   show's first broadcast outside of the U.S. CMS's concert earlier this month was at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation was the venue's first presentation of a musical organization  from the U.S. in its history.
May Spotlight 
Shaker Village, KY
 
This May, artistic directors David and Wu Han return to Shaker Village, KY, for the 12th Annual Chamber Music Festival of the Bluegrass. They will be joined by artists from The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center for performances in the historic 1820 Meeting House and the Meadow View Barn.

Two Season Announcements

 
The Music@Menlo Festival and Chamber Music Institute just announced its  2018 season line up. This summer's festival celebrates seven of Western music's  most flourishing creative capitals: London, Paris, St. Petersburg, Leipzig,  Berlin, Budapest, and Vienna. Menlo looks at how many of history's greatest composers have helped to define the spirit of these flagship cities through  their music.  Read more 
 
Artistic Directors David and Wu Han have announced plans for The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center 's 2018-19 season which encompasses landmark events and a wide range of repertoire performed by an roster of 129 world-renowned artists. Among the season's other offerings are a variety of lectures, pre-concert composer chats, concerts for young listeners, and master classes.   Read more

Seoul, Hong Kong, St. Petersburg...

Later in the spring, David and Wu Han join members of CMS for a tour in the Far East with performances at the  Seoul Arts Center in South Korea and the  Academy for Performing Arts in Hong Kong. From the Far East, Wu Han then heads to St. Petersburg's White Nights Festival where she is joined there by CMS artists Arnaud Sussmann, Sean Lee, Nicholas Canellakis, Matthew Lipman and Paul Neubauer.
